Jacob's first snow.

Here's some pics of Jacob's first snow. He just woke up from a nap and I'd been shoveling for about 2 hours so it was time to take a few pics before the dog turned all the snow yellow.

Paying tribute to the dead. Farewell Z.A. Recht.

When someone "passes" how does one pay tribute or honor them? I don't really know, I guess its different for everyone and different for every death. I think of my own quite often--who doesn't though, right?--and for me I would want people to know what I did when I was alive. I create a lot things, and for me it would be nice for people to give them a look, or a read. So, if you want to pay tribute to author Z.A. Recht who recently passed away why not pick up one of his books and read it. See the world as he saw it. I know that's what I'll be doing.

Z.A. Recht wrote Thunder and Ashes and Plague of the Dead. He was working on another novel at the time of his death. He was a talented writer and respected by many.
